On Friday, October 31st, we hosted our Client Appreciation Event at The Devil’s Pulpit Golf Course. A big thank you to all of our presenters: Mike Kessel (CEO of The Cleveland Clinic Canada), Mike Love and Jeff Cocker (Representatives of Legacy Private Trust), and Denise Castonguay (CEO of Canada Gives).

If you missed out on the event, here are some pictures and a few of the comments we received…
“I really saw value in having three very different presentations – each of which spoke towards a topic which was not directly related to the other. I think this kept everyone engaged, and walking away feeling as though they have learned much more because of it. I thought the speakers did a good job at explaining their businesses, and didn’t come across as sales pitches.
And of course, the food was also quite good!”

“I liked a few things. In no particular order,
1. The presentations were very informative and interesting. I learned a few things.
2. It was a good opportunity to meet with the IRONSHIELD team in a non-business environment, informally.
3. I appreciated the chance to meet and talk to the VP from Hahn.
4. Great venue and really good food.
Let’s do this again sometime in the future!”

“I really liked the venue, view, and lunch (excellent food). All of the speakers were great but Legacy was too much of a commercial. I thought Denise did a great job and so to Mike from Cleveland.
My favorite presenter was the MK. :)”

“I want to thank you for the opportunity to join you at Devil’s Pulpit on Friday October 31st, for your client appreciation event.
The location and venue were well worth the trip, and the staff at the Club extremely helpful and friendly.
It was a pleasure to be there for so many reasons, but not the least of which was the overall tone of the event – from the preparation time with you and your staff, who were always supportive, and the warm reception from the participants, seated at round tables in small groups … it all contributed to a professional but friendly and more intimate gathering.
If I were your client, I would have appreciated your event”
Best regards,
Denise
“Thank you again for inviting us to your client appreciation event at Devil’s Pulpit. We were very pleased with the opportunity to present to some of your clients in an intimate setting, and enjoyed that we were able to spend time getting into specific questions that they had about their own estate plans. It was a great chance to educate on a broad level as well as focus on some of the unique needs of the clients who attended.”
Best Regards,
Jeff and Mike
“Dina and I enjoyed The Cleveland Clinic part of the event. It was informative and we always enjoy learning new things about our health. Although at this time in our lives, we would probably not need the services of the other two speakers, it is always good to be aware that these services are available. We can not leave out that the lunch was really good and we enjoyed seeing and talking to Cathy.”

“I enjoyed the event, thank you for the invite. I found the presentations informative and appreciated the fact that they were different from the standard industry presentations. Even though it was three presentations it did not feel long. I am looking forward to the next event.”

Krystian
“Dennis and I enjoyed attending the client appreciation event … well done.
I really enjoyed hearing about the Cleveland Institute. Did not know we had one in Toronto.
All the speakers were very informative … it would have been nice if there were a couple of handouts, just emphasizing what they were offering .. such as the Trust speaker. It was difficult hearing him. Maybe it was just where we were sitting.
I would have liked to have liked to have heard what the ‘Donation Company’ charged for their services. Is it a percentage of what is donated or a flat rate.
I was really happy to have had the opportunity to meet Michael Flux,
The lunch was delicious.”
Talk to you soon
All the best
Denise
