What are the main components of a wealth protection plan?
Is Universal Life the main element?
Hi Sam,
The main component of the Wealth Protection Plan is the tax-sheltered investment component of a permanent insurance contract. However, with that being said, it is the unique design structure of the plan that allows the owner to make a single deposit to the plan, have access to these funds during retirement (if need be) and then transfer the entire value (principle and growth) tax free. Most plans require ongoing deposits but the Wealth Protection Plan’s we have put together for clients are single deposit plans. Please download (in the Free Information Section of this site) the brochure to see an example of the plan.
